Handmade 'Gallery Deep' Style Custom Picture Frame, 1.75" Extra Deep Frame, 100% Handmade from Solid Hardwood with Contrasting Splines
from $56.00
**READ BEFORE ORDERING**
-Each frame is fit for a specific size photo or artwork. So if you select an 11 x 14 inch image, the frame will fit an 11 x 14 inch photo. If you have a print that is already mounted on matboard, order the frame size that matches the overall mat size. If you don't see a size listed, I can make custom sizes up to 24 x 30 so message me!
-This listing is for my thin profile 'Gallery Deep' Style frames that are 0.75" wide and 1.75" deep. The groove depth is about 1.5". If you intend to use this frame for thicker artwork (canvas or wood panel), leave the thickness in the "personalization box". See my other listings for other profiles
-Hanger orientation: Please leave me a note in the "Add your personalization" about which orientation you would like the sawtooth hanger installed! If there is no note, I will ship the hanger with the frame, leaving that installation up to you! NOTE: Any frame larger than 20 x 24 will have TWO sawtooth hangers, one at each corner of the frame.
-I use Bainbridge acid-free 3/16" foam core as a backer board and secured with flexible points to secure everything.
-The glazing is ACRYLITE® Gallery FF3 Acrylic which is specifically manufactured for framing use and provides 90% UV resistance to protect your art. THIS IS NOT REAL GLASS! The acrylic measures 3/32" thick.
-Silicone bumpers are installed on the back of the frame to eliminate contact with your wall
-These frames are made to order from scratch, so they will be made specifically for you and shipped out in 3-4 weeks
-Wood is an organic material, and because of that, not every frame will be exactly the same. That's the beauty of real wood! It varies in grain pattern and slight color variations as well. Your frame will not look exactly like in the photo.
**PLEASE NOTE**
-I use Acrylic Plexiglass for the glazing of these frames. Acrylic is 10x stronger than glass and MUCH safer to ship. The acrylic will be shipped to you installed in the frame with protective layers on both sides that you will have to peel off before use.
-Acrylic is much stronger than glass, but it can scratch a lot easier than glass. When cleaning, please be sure that there is no dust on the glass when cleaning. Only use mild detergents on Acrylic, like dish soap.
I hand-make these picture frames in my Ohio shop with local and sustainably harvested lumber. The corners of every frame are reinforced with a wood spline to make sure the frame stays together for a lifetime. This detail is the difference between a mass produced frame and a quality, handmade frame.
